It was a small lighthouse standing at the edge of a beach, facing the vast Pacific Ocean. My father was involved in building that lighthouse. Drawn by curiosity, I wandered around the area near the lighthouse. There, I came across an old, weathered wooden chair washed up on the shore. I brought the decayed chair back and took a photograph of it alongside a withered rose.
